The exhibition marks the 85th anniversary of the tragedy in Khatsun village and is dedicated to the civilians who died as a result of Nazi punitive operations.
On October 25, 1941, punitive forces took the lives of 318 residents of Khatsun, including 60 children. Behind these figures lie shattered human lives, families who lost their loved ones, and a peaceful existence destroyed by the cruelty of war.
State Memorial Complex "Khatyn" expresses its gratitude to Bryansk State Museum of Local Lore for a fruitful cooperation and looks forward to its further development and the implementation of new joint projects.
Visitors can view the virtual exhibition in the lobby of the museum at Memorial Complex “Khatyn”, as well as on the memorial’s website.
