Pavel Kazantsev, known for his active social and political activities, showed a deep interest in the history of Khatyn and its significance for Belarus and the world. During the visit, he expressed his condolences and tribute to all who honor and preserve the memory of this symbolic place - a symbol of the genocide of the Belarusian people during the Great Patriotic War. Noting that such places of memory play an important role in the education of the younger generation and the formation of historical consciousness. He also emphasized the need for international cooperation in preserving the memory of tragic events of the past in order to prevent their repetition in the future.
In the guest book, Pavel Kazantsev left the following words:
"Khatyn! Our sacred place! Our pain! You are forever in the memory of people, in the memory of real People, Humans, Forces of Good and Light. You are a memory and a loud silent call for everyone to do everything possible and impossible so that this tragedy does not happen again. A deep bow and eternal memory to the victims of Khatyn! A deep bow to you, the keepers and guardians of this museum-memory! With you, Kazakhstanis! Always!"
We thank Pavel Kazantsev for his attention and support in preserving historical memory and hope for further cooperation in this important matter.
