During the tour of the open part of the memorial complex, the distinguished guests laid flowers at the monument “Unconquered Man” and the “Eternal Flame”, and observed a minute of silence in memory of the victims of the war – every third Belarusian who died during the Great Patriotic War.
Particular attention was paid to visiting the museum, where the delegation was given an excursion. Andrei Belousov left a memorable entry in the Book of Honored Guests, emphasizing the importance of the memorial for preserving historical memory.
The visit took place as part of strengthening the allied relations between Belarus and Russia and became another step in joint work to counter attempts to falsify history.
