The guests were given a tour of the memorial complex and museum. The delegation members walked with bated breath through the mournful land of Khatyn, where every inch of land reminds of the tragedy that cannot be forgotten. They honored the memory of the civilians burned alive and paid tribute to each innocent victim.
During the meeting, the memorial complex employees spoke about their cooperation with the branch of Bryansk Museum of Local History, emphasizing the importance of working together to preserve historical truth. Particular attention was paid to the virtual exhibition project "The Tragedy in Khatsun Village and the Occupation Regime in Bryansk Region". This exhibition was presented in the museum lobby during the celebration of the Great Victory and found a response in the hearts of hundreds of visitors.
At the end of the visit, the guests left a note in the Book of Honorary Visitors. In their review, they sincerely and heartily expressed gratitude and respect to all residents of Belarus, employees of the museum complex and the leadership of the Republic of Belarus - for the careful preservation of memory, for an honest and profound story about the terrible pages of history, for warmth and openness.
This visit became another confirmation that memory is stronger than time. And the pain experienced by peoples during the Great Patriotic War unites hearts forever.
