On August 15, 2025, the Chinese delegation visited memorial complex “Khatyn”. The guests from China honored the memory of the victims of the tragedy, got acquainted with the museum's exposition and walked through the territory of the memorial erected in memory of the burned Belarusian villages and their residents.
As a sign of respect and friendship, the delegation presented the memorial complex with a souvenir — a decorative plate depicting the Temple of Heaven, the largest temple complex in Beijing, included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. This gesture symbolizes mutual understanding and the desire to strengthen cultural ties between the peoples of Belarus and China.
The international shift “Belarus – China, towards each other” will continue until the end of August, including educational, sports and creative events aimed at developing friendship and mutual respect between the young generations of the two countries.
