A military delegation of the Republic of Kazakhstan headed by Deputy Minister of Defense Lieutenant General K. Abubakirov arrived in Belarus as part of a joint exercise with the CSTO Collective Rapid Reaction Forces “Interaction-2025”.
The bells of memorial complex “Khatyn” and the cemetery of burnt villages reminded guests of the price of peace and the tragedy, the memory of which the Belarusian people carried through the decades.
Lieutenant General Kanysh Abubakirov noted the importance of preserving the memory of the victims of the war and emphasized that such memorial complexes play a huge role in the education of young people. He spoke about the work being done in Kazakhstan on patriotic education of the younger generation, and drew attention to the fact that all conditions have been created in Belarus to develop respect for the history and heroic past of the people.
The visit to memorial complex “Khatyn” became an important part of the stay of the military delegation from the Republic of Kazakhstan in Belarus, emphasizing the commonality of historical memory.
