The "35 Good Deeds" marathon in Khatyn

18.09.2025

On September 16, 2025, memorial complex “Khatyn” became the site of a special gathering. As part of the "35 Good Deeds" marathon, dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the founding of the Federation of Trade Unions of Belarus, people with disabilities from various districts of Minsk came here. For them, the visit to Khatyn was a special event: not just a trip, but a true connection to the memory and pain of the Belarusian people.

The memorial grounds have been designed for people with disabilities to easily experience the tragic pages of our land's history. The participants took a guided tour of the complex, observed a moment of silence for those who died during the Great Patriotic War, and laid flowers.

The museum's exhibits touched the guests. One of the participants admitted that the museum's atmosphere inspired her to pursue a new dream: to become a tour guide. This sincere desire demonstrated that visiting a museum not only helps preserve the memory of a tragedy but also inspires new goals and strengthens faith in the power of the human spirit.

The trip, organized by Minsk City Organization of Belarusian Trade Union of Employees of State and Other Institutions в as part of the "35 Good Deeds" marathon, gave participants the opportunity not only to travel and discover new chapters in the history of their native land but also to participate in preserving the historical memory of the victims of the genocide of the Belarusian people.
