As part of the event, a delegation of museum directors from Minsk region, led by Tatyana Khmel, First Deputy Head of the Main Department of Culture of Minsk Regional Executive Committee, visited memorial complex “the Mound of Glory”.
During the visit, they discussed the complex's current operating methods and its important role in patriotic education of the population. Participants laid flowers at the foot of the memorial as a sign of remembrance and respect for the people's heroism.
After visiting “the Mound of Glory”, the delegation headed to memorial complex “Khatyn”, where museum leaders discussed tour organization and learned about the museum's marketing strategy and promotion methods.
Participants were given a tour of the museum. Guests laid flowers and honored the memory of the victims of genocide during the Great Patriotic War. A special highlight was a visit to the temple on the memorial grounds.
The regional seminar became an important platform for exchanging experiences and developing new ideas for the development of museum affairs in Minsk region.
