From September 8 to September 28, 2026, the National Children’s Educational and Health Center "Zubrenok" is hosting a civic-patriotic cadet session. This program has brought together over 500 cadets from 42 teams representing cadet institutions across Belarus and Russia. Throughout the session, the participants engage in a variety of activities designed to foster and strengthen patriotism and promote unity between the two fraternal nations; these include a drill and marching song competition, a showcase of delegation presentations, a military-sports relay race, and air rifle shooting contests. At the conclusion of the session, commemorative prizes are awarded to those who have demonstrated the best performance. Additionally, during the excursion program the cadets learn significant landmarks, such as Memorial Complex “Khatyn”, Historical and Cultural Complex "Stalin Line", and the Museum of the History of the Great Patriotic War.
Since 2007, the National Children's Center "Zubrenok" has hosted an annual cadet session for the top students from cadet schools, corps, and military-patriotic clubs across all regions of Belarus and 20 constituent entities of the Russian Federation. Over the years, more than 8,000 cadets have taken part in the program.
Visiting memorial sites such as Khatyn is an important part of the patriotic education of young people.
