This holiday brings together representatives of dozens of creative professions – cultural figures, actors, writers, musicians, artists, and museum staff. It is through their work that what we call our national heritage is created. The most outstanding professionals in the field received awards from various ministries and government agencies.
Vladimir Pertsov, First Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration, read out a congratulatory message from the President of the Republic of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko. Marat Markov, Minister of Culture of the Republic of Belarus, also extended his congratulations to those working in the field on the occasion of their professional holiday: “This day is a wonderful opportunity to express gratitude to everyone who has dedicated their life to preserving and enriching our vast spiritual heritage. Your mission extends far beyond the scope of a mere profession. You are the guardians of the nation’s historical memory, the creators of meaning, and the very threads that connect generations.”
Minister of Culture of the Republic of Belarus Marat Markov presented a certificate of honor to State Memorial Complex “Khatyn” for many years of fruitful work in preserving and promoting national culture.
It is particularly symbolic that this high recognition followed shortly after the Mound of Glory was designated the highest category of a historical and cultural landmark of international significance.
We congratulate our colleagues on the fact that this monumental, collective effort to safeguard the status of this sacred site has been recognized at the highest level! May your dedication, professionalism, and contributions toward preserving our historical memory always receive the recognition they deserve. We wish you many more professional achievements and continued success.
