Deputy Chief of Minsk Regional Security Administration, Police Colonel Shatrun S. expressed words of encouragement for long and conscientious service, and also congratulated on the successful completion of the first stage of the professional path. He reminded everyone of the tragic history of Khatyn village, of those punitive detachments that committed atrocities on the territory of Belarus, of the exploits and heroism of our compatriots.
A tour of the museum and memorial sites was arranged for the security guards, with flowers laid at the sculpture “Unconquered Man”.
As noted by Ushivets K., senior inspector of ideological work of the Division of Ideological Work and Personnel Provision of Minsk Regional Administration of Security Department:
The education of employees of internal affairs agencies in the spirit of patriotism, selfless service to the Motherland, loyalty to the Oath, civic and official duty requires the mandatory use of examples from the past, combat and service traditions of internal affairs agencies, and modern heroic everyday life. This process is impossible without targeted influence on the thoughts and feelings of employees. Traditional service rituals play a special role in increasing the effectiveness of such influence, one of which is the presentation of service weapons and shoulder boards.
Therefore, such ceremonial events have traditionally taken place at memorial complex “Khatyn”.
