

In the anniversary year of the Great Victory, the cultural and educational project "Train of Memory" brought together about 300 participants from 15 republics of the former Soviet Union. This unique project united young people who strive to preserve and pass on the memory of tragic and heroic pages of history.
On the eve of the Day of National Remembrance of the Victims of the Great Patriotic War and the Genocide of the Belarusian People, a delegation of the CSTO Joint Headquarters arrived in Belarus to participate in memorial events.

On June 22, the Day of National Remembrance of the Victims of the Great Patriotic War and the Genocide of the Belarusian People, memorial complex “Khatyn” became the center of solemn and mourning events. At 12:00, the All-Belarusian Minute of Silence was held here - a sacred moment of unity and sorrow at the Eternal Flame.
On June 8, 2025, Kaliningrad region governor Alexey Besprozvannykh visited memorial complex “Khatyn” as part of his visit to Belarus. He arrived here with a delegation from Russian region a few hours after landing.
On May 18, 2025, memorial complex “Khatyn” received a delegation from Bryansk Region. This visit turned into a deep, sincere touch to the common memory and pain shared by the peoples of Belarus and Russia.
In honor of International Family Day, Memorial Complex “Khatyn” is holding a special event for museum visitors on May 17, 2025. On this day, families will be able to visit the museum on special terms.
As part of his working visit to the Republic of Belarus, the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation Andrei Belousov visited memorial complex “Khatyn”. He was personally met and accompanied by the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Belarus, Lieutenant General Viktor Khrenin.
Today, when the generation of victors is gradually leaving, and the Victory in the Great Patriotic War is becoming a subject of ideological debate, it is especially important to preserve the historical truth. The peoples of Russia and Belarus, linked by a common history and common pain, need to jointly defend the memory of the feat of the Soviet people.
By May 9, Minsk Watch Factory Museum opened a showcase with a new limited collection "Memory".
