These words of Belarusian writer Pyatro Runets became the leitmotif of the working trip of the employees of the memorial complex “Khatyn” on December 15, 2024 to Krasny Bereg agro-town, where the memorial complex "Children - Victims of War" is located.

Events timed to the 75th anniversary of Belarus' liberation from the Nazi invaders took place in the Khatyn Memorial, Logoisk District, Minsk Oblast on 3 July. Representatives of the oblast administration, the defense ministries of the countries, which will take part in the Independence Day parade, laid flowers in the memorial.

Over Br250,000 to be allocated for Khatyn Memorial reconstruction

Restoration and improvement of historical and cultural heritage objects continues in Minsk Oblast in 2020. More than Br1 million will be spent on Nesvizh Palace and Br250,000 on the reconstruction of Khatyn Memorial, Tatiana Khmel, the first deputy head of the department for ideology, culture and youth affairs at the Minsk Oblast Executive Committee, told a press conference in BelTA's press center.
