On September 2, 2026, a commemorative event marking the 85th anniversary of the outbreak of the Great Patriotic War took place at memorial complex “the Mound of Glory”.
Exactly 85 years ago, on September 8, 1941, the siege of Leningrad began.
On August 10, 2026, Minsk Region Governor Alexei Kushnarenko and leader of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Gennady Zyuganov visited memorial complex “the Mound of Glory” and laid flowers at the foot of one of the main memorials to military glory.
On July 29, 2026, the final stage of the military-patriotic campaign "Letters to Descendants. Dedicated to the 100th Anniversary of the Great Victory!" took place at the foot of the Mound of Glory.
On July 25, Belarus celebrated its professional holiday – Fire Service Day, a fast for those who risk their lives every day to save others.
On July 26, 2026, as part of the official visit of Kaluga Region delegation to the Republic of Belarus, representatives of the region visited memorial complex “Khatyn”.
On July 24, 2026, a significant event took place at memorial complex “Khatyn”: the opening of an exhibition dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding architect and one of the authors of Khatyn, Leonid Levin.
On July 21, 2026, a delegation from the Arab Parliament made a landmark visit to memorial complex “Khatyn”. The group of high-ranking guests was led by the Speaker of the Arab Parliament, Mohammed Ahmed Al-Yamahi.
On August 21, 2026, the results of cooperation between Maxim Tank Belarusian State Pedagogical University and SMC “Khatyn” were summarized.
On August 12, 2026, as part of a working visit to Belarus, a delegation from the Georgian Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, led by Besik Amiranashvili, head of the National Forestry Agency of Georgia, visited State Memorial Complex “Khatyn”. The delegation included 14 representatives of the Georgian forestry agency. A representative of Logoisk Forestry accompanied the guests.
On the 90th anniversary of the birth of Leonid Levin
The 3rd Forum of Regions of Belarus and Uzbekistan is taking place in Belarus from July 6 to 8. The forum is co-organized by the National Export Support Center of Belarus and the Ministry of Investment, Industry, and Trade of Uzbekistan.
From June 8 to 13, 2026, a national bicycle ride dedicated to the Victory in the Great Patriotic War and the Synaxis of Belarusian Saints took place in Belarus. Memorial Complex “Khatyn” became the final destination for over four hundred cyclists from across the country, including Brest, Gorki, Lida, Svetlogorsk, Polotsk, and Minsk.
