On February 19, 2026, as part of events dedicated to Defender of the Fatherland Day, Yusup Agzamkhodzhaev, Chairman of the Youth Council of the central office of Rosreestr and the Trade Union of Land and Real Estate Employees of the Russian Federation, and Anastasia Yemelyanova, member of the Youth Council of the PPC "Roskadastr", donated a unique publication "Names of Heroes on the Map of Russia" to memorial complex “Khatyn”.
From February 18 to March 17, 2026, memorial complex “Khatyn” will host the exhibition "To Pass and Survive...," dedicated to the birthday of the outstanding Belarusian artist Mikhail Savitsky.
On February 13, 2026, on the eve of the memorial days when the entire country pays tribute to internationalist soldiers and defenders of the Fatherland, staff of memorial complex “Khatyn” held a Courage Lesson in schools in Logoisk District, Minsk Region.
On February 8, 2026, an informational meeting "The Activities of Memorial Complex “Khatyn” and Its Branches as Tourist Attractions: Features and Specifics of Operations" was held at State Memorial Complex “Khatyn”. The target audience for the event, organized jointly with the National Tourism Agency, were students enrolled in courses for tour guides, guide-interpreters, and tour group managers.
On February 7, 2026, a delegation from the Slovak Republic visited memorial complex “Khatyn”.
On February 8, 2026, an informational meeting was held, organized by SMC “Khatyn” jointly with the National Tourism Agency for students of tour guide and guide-interpreter courses, as well as tour group managers.
On February 5, 2025, researchers from State Memorial Complex “Khatyn” gave a visiting lecture at Pleshchenitsy State Regional School of Olympic Reserve.
On February 4, 2026, a delegation of parliamentarians of the Republic of Kazakhstan, headed by the Chairman of the Mazhilis, Erlan Koshanov, visited memorial complex “Khatyn”.
From January 27 to February 3, the Memorial Complex “Khatyn” Museum hosted the international virtual exhibition project "900 Days of Courage," a joint effort with the Victory Museum (Moscow). The project commemorated the 82nd anniversary of the lifting of the siege of the city on the Neva—one of the most tragic and yet heroic chapters in 20th-century history.
Every year, on the great feast of the Epiphany of the Lord, a prayer service is held at memorial complex “Khatyn” before the ancient icon of the Mother of God “the Sign." This bright and kind tradition imbues the museum space with a special spiritual meaning, uniting memory, faith, and hope.
On January 8, 2026, the anniversary of Artur Zelsky's death, a memorial service was held at the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in memorial complex “Khatyn”. The service was attended by Artur Zelsky's family, friends, and colleagues.
On January 14, 2026, as part of the New Year's charity event "From the Heart" and the "Museum is Open for You!" campaign, SE “State Memorial Complex "Khatyn" invites senior citizens to visit the museum free of charge.
On December 23, 2025, the outstanding Soviet and Belarusian sculptor, architect, laureate of Lenin Prize and Lenin Komsomol Prize of Belarus, Honored Artist of the Republic of Belarus Valentin Zankovich passed away.
