The year of the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory became a jubilee year for the youth patriotic campaign "Roads of Glory - Our History". For the tenth time, activists went to cities in Russia and Belarus to visit museums of military glory, mass graves, memorial complexes and honor the memory of those who died during the Great Patriotic War.

From July 5 to August 5, 2025, the hall of memorial complex "Khatyn" museum will host the exhibition "Look and Remember..." dedicated to the 40th anniversary of the release of the war film "Come and See". The exhibition will feature a unique showpiece - an author's doll created by Daria Gorda, a resident of Nizhny Novgorod (Russian Federation), based on the cult film by Elem Klimov and Ales Adamovich.
On July 14, 2025, memorial complex “Khatyn” welcomed participants of the 10th International Cultural and Educational Forum "Children of the Commonwealth", which is being held in the Republic of Belarus for the first time. On this day, children from eight countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States - Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Belarus - honored the memory of the innocent victims of the Great Patriotic War by visiting one of the most tragic places in the history of our people.
In the last, sixth hall of the museum of memorial complex "Khatyn" time stands still. Through artistic images, documentary footage, architectural symbols and human stories the tragic truth about the genocide of the Belarusian people during the Great Patriotic War is revealed.
On July 5, 2025, the opening of the exhibition "Look and Remember..." took place at Memorial Complex “Khatyn”, dedicated to the 40th anniversary of the release of Elem Klimov's film "Come and See". It is symbolic that the opening took place on the very day when the memorial complex was opened in 1969, becoming a silent witness to the tragedy and the power of memory.
Today, July 3, Independence Day, a wreath-laying ceremony and flowers ceremony were held at the foot of the Mound of Glory in honor of the feat of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War.
On Independence Day, the Mound of Glory will surprise guests with large-scale exhibitions, a historical video projection and colorful fireworks.
This year, when we celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory, memorial complex “Khatyn” became the venue for a special service. As part of the All-Russian prayer service for Victory "You Will Win!", participants in the religious procession visited the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, located on the territory of the memorial complex.
In the anniversary year of the Great Victory, the cultural and educational project "Train of Memory" brought together about 300 participants from 15 republics of the former Soviet Union. This unique project united young people who strive to preserve and pass on the memory of tragic and heroic pages of history.
On the eve of the Day of National Remembrance of the Victims of the Great Patriotic War and the Genocide of the Belarusian People, a delegation of the CSTO Joint Headquarters arrived in Belarus to participate in memorial events.
