On January 23, 2025, the memorial complex “Khatyn” was visited by Pavel Kazantsev, Deputy Chairman of the Majilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan. He arrived in Belarus as an international observer at the elections of the President of the Republic and, despite his busy schedule, found time to visit this sacred place to honor the memory of the victims of the tragedy.

Consecration of the museum in “Khatyn”: Prayers for the employees and spiritual blessings

On January 22, 2025, an important event took place at the memorial complex “Khatyn”. Archpriest Pavel Yatsukovich, rector of the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in “Khatyn”, consecrated the museum building and offered prayers for the health of all the employees of the memorial complex. The service was held in front of the ancient icon of the Mother of God "The Sign", which is a historical artifact of the museum.

Rescuers of Minsk region took the Oath at the Mound of Glory!

On January 15, 2025, on the eve of their professional holiday - Rescuer's Day, in the most sacred place of Minsk region, Memorial Complex "Mound of Glory", young workers preparing for service in the units of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Minsk region, solemnly took the oath of allegiance to the Motherland and the people.

On January 14, 2025, the staff of the Memorial Complex “Khatyn” held a lecture at the State Educational Institution “Special Secondary School No. 188 for Children with Visual Impairment” as part of inclusive education, which provides equal access to knowledge for all children, adolescents and schoolchildren, including those with special educational needs, various health disorders and disabilities.
